Dr Susanne Klein FInstP is Associate Professor at the Centre for Fine Print Research at the University of the West of England in Bristol, UK.

She is a physicist by training and has lived and worked for the last 23 years and the UK, first as a Royal Society Research Associate at the University of Bristol, and then as a senior research scientist at Hewlett Packard Labs Bristol.

Her past and present interests are new materials for printing applications, including liquid crystals, optics and colour science.
