Linda usa materiales finos o delicados e imágenes para ilustrar el concepto de nostalgia – por las relaciones y por el medioambiente.  Nostalgia se nutre de recuerdos y sin embargo si dejamos que la nostalgia nos consuma, nos olvidamos de comprometernos con la emoción de la anticipación – que inevitablemente la vida que ahora conocemos cambiará y requiere solo un poco de imaginación para ver la posibilidad que el cambio puede ser libertador.

Linda obtuvo un Advanced Diploma of Fine Arts y ha sido finalista y ha ganado varios premios por su arte tanto en grabados como en escultura y ha participado en muchas exposiciones individuales y en grupo durante su carrera artística.  Ella ha sido Vice-Presidenta de Open Bite Printmakers entre 2015-2017; Presidenta entre 2013-2015 y Co-ordinadora Exposiciones entre 2011-2013 y continua con su labor como Editora para el grupo.

Linda uses fine or delicate materials and imagery to illustrate a concept of nostalgia – for relationships and for the environment.  Nostalgia is nourished by memories and yet if we let nostalgia consume us we forget to engage with the thrill of anticipation – that inevitably the life we now know will change and it requires only imagination to see the possibility that change can be liberating.  

Linda has an Advanced Diploma of Fine Arts and has been a finalist and won a number of prizes for her art both in printmaking and sculpture and has participated in a number of individual and numerous group exhibitions throughout her art career.  She has been the Vice-President of Open Bite Printmakers between 2015-2017; President between 2013-2015 and Exhibition Manager between 2011-2013 and continues to be the Newsletter Editor for the group.
