Inkmasters Cairns

InkMasters, una organización de Artes sin fines de lucro establecida en 2011, ha sido instrumental en hacer de Cairns un centro de excelencia en el grabado.

Promovemos la forma de arte a través de un programa completo de eventos, incluyendo talleres de desarrollo de habilidades y actividades de participación comunitaria, y exposiciones locales, nacionales e internacionales que avancen el trabajo y las carreras de artistas regionales - indígenas y no indígenas, emergentes y profesionales.

Organizamos un festival bienal de grabado, Inkfest, y hemos acogido a numerosos artistas en residencia. Fomentamos la diversidad cultural creando oportunidades de colaboración entre artistas indígenas australianos y otras culturas.

InkMasters, a not-for-profit arts organisation established in 2011, has been instrumental in making Cairns a centre of printmaking excellence in Australia.

We promote the art form through a full program of events, including skills-development workshops and community engagement activities, and local, national and international exhibitions that advance the work and careers of regional artists - indigenous and non-indigenous, emerging and professional.

We organize a biennial festival of printmaking, Inkfest, and have hosted numerous artists-in-residence.

We foster cultural diversity by creating opportunities for collaboration between Indigenous Australian arts and other cultures.
