Se graduó con su licenciatura en Artes y Máster en filosofía en Bellas Artes en de la Universidad China de Hong Kong y su Doctor en Bellas Artes del Instituto de tecnología de Royal Melbourne, Australia.

Es profesor asociado adjunto del Departamento de artes culturales y creativos en la Universidad de Educación de Hong Kong. Fijó Art Horizon el taller y los cursos relevantes se ofrecen regularmente para los participantes locales. Participó en muchas exposiciones individuales y colectivas y fue galardonado con el "Premio de pintura a la tinta" en la 9ª exposición de arte nacional de China.

Graduated with a B.A. and a M.Phil. in Fine Arts in 1976 and 1991 respectively from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a D.F.A. (Doctor of Fine Arts) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia in 2002.

He is Adjunct Associate Professor of Cultural and Creative Arts Department, The Education University of Hong Kong. He set up Art Horizon Workshop in 2008 and relevant courses are regularly offered for local participants.

He took part in many solo and group exhibitions and was awarded “Ink Painting Prize” in The 9th Chinese National Art Exhibition in 1999.
