Es licenciada en Química analítica y doctora por la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU). Actualmente es profesora titular en la UPV/EHU, donde imparte docencia en el grado de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales así como en el máster de Análisis Forense y en el de Conservación y Exhibición de Arte Contemporáneo.

Ha publicado varios artículos en Revistas Científicas Internacionales de reconocido prestigio y participa en proyectos relacionados con el examen científico de materiales impresos, análisis forense de documentos y conservación de pinturas de emulsión acrílica, entre otros.

She got a degree in Analytical Chemistry and a Ph. D. from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). At present she is Professor at the Painting department of the UPV/EHU, where she gives lectures in the Conservation and Restoration degree as well as in the Forensic Analysis master and in the Contemporary Art Conservation and Exhibition master.

She has published several articles in recognized scientific journals and is currently involved in research projects having to do with the technical examination of printed materials, forensic analysis of documents and acrylic emulsion painting conservation, among others.
