Giulia Leonelli es una artista y doctora en Artes Visuales. Estudió en la Universidad de Bellas Artes de Roma y en la Universidad de la Sorbona.
En 2012, es seleccionada para asistir al Programa de Arte de MFA Studio en la Universidad de New York.
En París, frecuenta el taller Bo Halbirk donde edita el libro de artista "Mandolin Days".
En 2017 participa en una residencia de tres meses en Manhattan Graphics Center. Allí, completa la edición del libro de artista "ReWind", que se incluye en varias colecciones públicas y privadas.

Ahora es instructora de grabado en Sorbona.

Su trabajo ha sido incluido en numerosas exhibiciones internacionales (Francia, Italia, Dinamarca y los Estados Unidos.

 

Giulia Leonelli is an artist and doctor in Visual Arts. She studied at Rome University of Fine Arts and at Sorbonne University.
In 2012, she was selected to attend the MFA Studio Art Program at New York University.
In Paris, she worked in the Bo Halbirk workshop where she edited the artist book “Mandolin Days”.
In 2017 she participates in a three-month residency at Manhattan Graphics Center. There, she completed the edition of the artist book “ReWind” which is now included in several private and public collections, such as the MGC Print Collection and the Kentler International Drawing Space Flatfiles.
She is now a printmaking instructor at Sorbonne.
Her work has been included in several international exhibitions (France, Italy, Denmark and the United States).
