Originalmente de Recife, Brasil, Enrique Leal ha trabajado como grabador en EEUU y España antes de recibir el titulo de doctor en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, donde ejerció como docente e investigador (1998-2014). Ha sido becario en el Instituto de la Cultura Iberoamericana, Academia Española Roma, Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper, Universidad de Rutgers.

El trabajo de Leal se ha exhibido y se encuentra en colecciones en Argentina, Brasil, España, Francia, Hungría y, los Estados Unidos.

Originally from Recife Brazil, Enrique Leal has worked as a printmaker in the U.S.A. and Spain before receiving his PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Castilla La Mancha where he taught from 1998-2014.

He is the recipient of fellowships from the Institute of Iberian-American Culture, the Spanish Academy in Rome, Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper, Rutgers University.

Leal’s work has been exhibited and is found in collections in Argentina, Brazil, France, Hungary, Spain and the United States.
