Altea Grau es licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (2008) y titulada Superior en Música  por el Conservatorio Superior de Música de la misma ciudad (2009).

En 2012 recibe la beca Dávalos Fletcher que le permite cursar el máster en Book Arts en la University of the Arts London.

Ha realizado residencias artísticas internacionales (Urbino, Bolonia, en Italia, Salamanca, Inglaterra e Irlanda), así como numerosas exposiciones individuales y colectivas.

Actualmente está finalizando sus estudios de doctorado en University of the Arts London, donde es profesora visitante y trabaja en el estudio Thumbprint Editions en Londres.

Altea Grau holds a BA in Fine Arts by the Polytechnic university of Valencia and a Bachelor Degree in Music by the Superio Conservatory of the same city.

In 2012 received the Dávalos Foundation Scholarship to do the MA in Book Arts at Camberwell College of Arts.

She has been awarded several international residencies (Urbino, Bologna, England and Ireland) as well as participated in multiple solo and group exhibitions.

She is currently finishing her PhD at the University of the Arts London, where she collaborates as a visiting tutor and works in the printmaking studio Thumbprint Editions in London
