Aleksandra Janik recibió su MFA en grabado, en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Wroclaw, Polonia en 1996. En 1996-97 fue becaria del DAAD en la Universidad de Arte de Braunschweig en Alemania.
Aleksandra Janik received her MFA in printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland in 1996.
In 1996-97 she was the DAAD grant holder at the Braunschweig University of Art in Germany.
Her artistic and academic interests concentrate mainly on printmaking and photography.
Since 2010 she has held the position of associate professor at the Studio of Digital and Experimental
Printmaking, at the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
She is currently the Vice-Rector for Arts, Research and Foreign Cooperation at the Eugeniusz
Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw.
